Bugfixes​

  • Fixes a bug where the Table of Contents block failed to register in the Widgets area when the Twenty Twenty-One theme was active.
  • Fixes a bug where the EDD schema structure pointed to non-existent nodes when the website was configured to represent a person.
  • Fixes a bug where the Yoast AI Optimize feature failed to function when content was edited in template-locked mode within the Block Editor.

Other​

  • Bumps the minimum required version of Yoast SEO to 26.9.
  • Ensures no deprecated props are used for WordPress components ToggleControl, TextControl, and SelectControl for Estimated reading time and Table of Contents blocks.
  • Makes AI Summarize block not available inside Widgets when Twenty Twenty-One theme is used.
  • Only loads AI Summarize assets on Posts, Pages, and CPTs.
  • Sets the minimum supported WordPress version to 6.8.
